Francine Weiss is a curator and professor living in Massachusetts.  She earned her BA in English at Wellesley College and her Ph.D. in American Studies from Boston University, where she specialized in the history of photography. She has been a scholar-in-residence at the Harry Ransom Center, Center for Creative Photography, and Smithsonian Institution. She is currently the Curator at the Photographic Resource Center in Boston and has worked as a Curator and Fellow at the National Gallery of Art (Washington, DC) and Fogg Art Museum at Harvard University. She has taught art history at Wellesley College and Boston University.
