Josh Dannin is an artist and printmaker based in Manchester, NH. He received a BFA in printmaking and photography from Kutztown University and an MFA in printmaking from Ohio University. Primarily working with relief and risograph print processes, Dannin is interested in the intersection between modern technology, traditional craft, and mass production.


Dannin runs Directangle Press, a small printshop and publishing house specializing in short-run artist books, zines, and editions. Previously a regular contributor to, he co-edits Power Washer, a semi-annual zine about screenprinting featuring artist interviews and essays, high-end print humor, and lo-fi graphics.


Dannin’s work has been exhibited nationally and internationally at institutions including International Print Center New York (Chelsea, NYC), Anderson Ranch Arts Center (Snowmass Village, CO), Vitebsk Center of Contemporary Art (Vitebsk, Belarus), Cork Printmakers (Cork, Ireland), and Fondazione Il Bisonte (Florence, Italy). He has worked as an artist-in-residence in studios including Cork Printmakers (Cork, Ireland), Atelier Presse Papier (Trois-Rivières, QC, Canada), Spark Box Studio (Picton, ON, Canada), Saint Anselm College (Manchester, NH) and Honolulu Printmakers (Honolulu, HI).
