Kate is an Artist, Curator, and Educator who lives and works in Southern New Hampshire. She completed both her undergraduate and graduate studies here at New Hampshire Institute of Art. In addition, Kate was a part of the first graduating class of the MFA program at NHIA.

Kate has taught in the Foundations Department at NHIA since 2015, where her classes have focused on Observational and Compositional Drawing, Color Theory, and most recently Portraiture.

In her artistic practice, Kate focuses on the human form, and explores how it exists in a state of multiplicity within self and identity. Her work is mostly life size, and she creates her figures on a semi-transparent surface, using mixed media and objects to see how form, light and space affect the relationship of her figures with each other and the viewer. Her work has been exhibited all over the Northeast, and was included in group shows in Miami, Florida and Barcelona, Spain.

Currently, she is working on her PhD in Visual Arts: Philosophy, Aesthetics and Art Theory at IDSVA.
