William Coleman is a curator, art historian, writer, and advocate for landscape and its representations in the transatlantic world, with a particular focus on the so-called Hudson River School of American
landscape painting. Since 2019, he has been Director of Collections & Exhibitions at The Olana Partnership, where he oversees the curatorial and research enterprises for the 90,000 object
permanent collection and iconic buildings of Frederic Church’s 250-acre estate in Hudson, New York.
