Join us as we honor and celebrate the Class of 2020
Doors at the Rex Theatre will open at 3:15 pm, ceremony begins at 4:00 pm. Commencement will last approximately two hours. The public opening for the Annual BFA Student Exhibition begins immediately following commencement.
Each graduate will receive four commencement invitations for friends and family (the actual graduate does not need a ticket). Graduating students will receive their tickets at rehearsal. Should you require more than five invitations, please speak to fellow graduates who may not need all of their invitations. Invitations hold no cash value and are not to be sold. YOUR GUESTS MUST SHOW THEIR INVITATION TO GET INTO THE PALACE THEATER FOR COMMENCEMENT. In the event that extra tickets become available, the Registrar will reach out to graduating students via email, to let them know how and when they can request them. Extra tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis, and not all students who request them are guaranteed to receive them.
REGALIA (cap and gown)
Regalia will be issued to BFA students during rehearsal. Art Education certification students must bring their own regalia. Graduate students will be issued their regalia the morning of graduation or by contacting the Graduate Programs Department.
If you cannot attend rehearsal, contact the Registrar as soon as possible to arrange to pick up your regalia. No regalia will be issued before rehearsal.
