We are a tight-knit community of artists, designers and writers, obsessed with creativity, driven to make a difference, and engaged with the world around them. At the Institute of Art and Design at New England College we test limits and champion invention. We make, think, advocate, create, adapt, engage, invent, collaborate, act, test, dream, empower, influence, inspire... all so you can command your own future and thrive as a creative professional. See for yourself at one of our Visit Days.
In between the historic buildings that make up our campus are parks, coffee shops, and historical sites. Stroll our historic mill buildings, take in a ball game, or check out a concert at the Palace Theatre, all with a price tag you can afford. On your tour you'll meet our world class faculty, talk with our super creative community of students and get a feel for life in a New Hampshire college town. And yes, with 23,000 college students living and studying in Manchester, we are a college town.

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we have temporarily changed our planned in-person on-campus events on both our Henniker and Manchester campuses to an online format. All of the planned admission events listed below will take place as scheduled, via Zoom. The events will be “live”, featuring a narrated campus tour, contact with faculty, staff, students and administrators. The programs will provide information on all aspects of campus life, academics, financial aid, and more. We look forward to seeing you online (and then on campus shortly after, we hope), so please register today!
We plan to add additional events that feature focused aspects of academic and student life, so check back again for updates.
Personalized narrated online tours are offered Monday–Friday at 10:30 a.m. or 2:00 p.m. Request your personalized campus visit.
