Student Affairs

Academic Advising

Help is never far away. Our advisors will work closely with you to help you plan your schedule, maximizing your opportunities for learning and making sure you have the credits you need to graduate on time. They’ll keep close watch on your progress, give advice on independent studies, and support you through those tough courses.

Our full-time undergraduate faculty maintain regular office hours where students are welcome to drop by and chat, whether you’re looking for help with a tough assignment, advice on a new technique, or just a friendly ear.

Academic Support Center

Whether you’re struggling with that art history essay or simply want a quiet space to work on your iambic pentameter, the Academic Support Center offers a wide range of resources to help you perform at your best. Get one-on-one help with your writing or other academic skills, brainstorm ideas for your studio project, or find assistance with time management. Our team are committed to providing you the support you need to succeed.

Disability Services

Our disability services are maintained by our Academic Support Center, and are founded on the same commitment to giving every student the resources they need to perform at their best. The office will grant students academic accommodations on a case-by-case basis. Disabled students should contact the Disability Services Director to set up a meeting, where you’ll talk about your needs and review documentation.

Galleries and Exhibitions

Wet maintains several gallery spaces. We feature rotating exhibits of work by students, faculty, alumni, and regionally or nationally acclaimed artists.

Special Programs

The Office of Student Affairs maintains a full slate of special programs, both on campus and far further afield.

  • Visiting Artists: We are proud to bring top names in the art world to your doorstep with our visiting artist workshops and our Distinguished American Artists Discussing Art lectures.
  • Field Trips: Join an excursion to the AIPAD New York Photography Show to see work from dozens of exhibitors showing both new and historic works, or hit the Big Apple to soak up inspiration at the Met and other museums. We regularly organizes excursions to world-class museums, conferences, and other events.
