Ever wondered why some applications or products are easy-to-use and others just plain frustrating? As a User Experience (UX) Design major, you’ll learn first-hand what makes for good design whether that’s a physical product, a software application, or a customer experience. You’ll gain a solid foundation in traditional graphic design, but perhaps more importantly you’ll learn how to think like a UX designer — how to recognize a design problem, to discern what people want, and how to perfect a design solution through iteration and user testing to achieve a satisfying result. As a UX Design major you’ll gain the skills you’ll need to work as a designer in both the digital as well as physical worlds — from software coding, mobile application development, and user interface design to the latest in 2D and 3D prototyping, our UX Design program will give you the skills you’ll need to succeed in this rapidly evolving field.
